Product Engineering

A successful project starts with the detail drawings. Critical information to all projects is funneled through the detailing department and processed accurately to communicate how to build the finished product and interface with the other trades that will be directly impacted by the product being produced.  Good communication must take place between the project management team and the detailing team to  expedite accurate shop drawings and installation drawings to deliver a finished product to the field.  At Woodcraft detailing excellence is second nature because we recognize project success begins with the detailing team. Our detailing standards have been developed over three decades to make the most effective use of the equipment and resources in our production facility. We recently added Microvellum software to our process that will keep us on the leading edge of today’s technology which will allow us to expand our ability to assist our customers utilizing 3-D modeling.

Project Management

At Woodcraft  we believe the project manager is the conductor of the orchestra. They are your single source contact and are responsible for every aspect of the project once it is turned over by the sales team. Their goal is total customer satisfaction. The timely flow and accuracy of information from the customer through detailing, shop production, delivery and sales is the responsibility of the project manager. At Woodcraft we are designing and building a highly engineered product. You can not buy this   product off the shelf.  Close attention must be paid to details and the changing needs of each and every project. Each project is custom in nature and unique at Woodcraft. Our project managers welcome the responsibility and take it seriously, because we know that if the produced materials are late your entire project is at risk. Woodcraft provides the necessary organization to allow our project managers to make your project a success. All support functions from estimating to engineering to production are made available to the project manager providing them with the flexibility and control. Excellent communication is the key to a projects success and we at Woodcraft accept the responsibility to continuously improve our ability to communicate with our customers, internal and external.
